Lisa has offered myofascial and craniosacral treatment for the past 8 years. Her work helps alleviate restrictions within the body’s fascial system. Treatment of the fascial system balances the body/mind and enables the body to self regulate and heal. Restrictions in the fascia can result in a host of symptoms including chronic pain, low energy, anxiety, excessive tension in the physical body and inability to focus or let go.  Following treatment, the nervous system is calmer, the fluid systems of the body are able to communicate with greater ease, and the client on the table experiences a greater degree of self awareness.  Sessions run from 90 min to 3 hours to allow for adequate time for the tissue releases to occur.

Education:  Lisa studied under the guidance of John Barnes and the Upledger Institute.  Her academic background includes a BA from the University of Virginia, Masters of Science from the Medical College of Virginia, and certification in massage therapy.  She began her career in outpatient physical therapy 17 years ago prior to devoting her practice solely to myofascial and craniosacral work.
